Great start to the morning! We finished our training in Zilina and will be heading to Banska Bystrica in a little while. Training was good and helpful to get our focus right. Then we had a commissioning prayer time, each team praying for the other (see picture).
I was told today that Banska Bystrica is a very hard city, meaning they are not open to new things and less receptive of visitors. This means that our camp will be smaller with fewer Slovaks and maybe only 4-5 unbelievers at camp. We have a great ratio of American Team members and Slovaks so we will be building relationships and discipling.
Pray that we have effective evangelistic opportunities and are able to encourage the Christian students to deepen their walk with Jesus!
